PTFE membrane is a microporous membrane produced by special processes such as premixing, extruding, calendering, and biaxial stretching using PTFE dispersion resin. It is divided into garment membrane, micro waterproof membrane, filter membrane, and purification membrane.
Main structure:
1. The surface of PTFE microporous membrane is of spider like microporous structure. Pores are formed between the microfibers, and the arrangement direction of the microfibers is basically parallel to the stretching direction; The junction of fiber bundles is the node, which is formed by the entanglement of many micro fibers.
2. PTFE membrane belongs to asymmetric membrane, and the size of micropores on both sides of the membrane is different.
3. The cross section micropore size of the membrane is larger than the surface micropore size, and the longitudinal and transverse micropore sizes are also different. The longitudinal micropores are larger than the transverse micropores.
4. The cross section of the membrane is a network structure. There are very complex changes in the three-dimensional structure of the holes, such as network connectivity, hole insert sleeve, and channel bending. There may be multiple micropores forming a channel, or a micropore may be connected with multiple channels.
